Oregon Greens Cheer Brown's Orders on Energy Efficient Buildings, Electric Vehicles

Published in Portland Business Journal: Governor Kate Brown issued executive orders intending to encourage more energy efficient buildings and electric vehicle adoption. An array of green groups that includes New Buildings Institute cheered the moves and used the occasion to say they were coming together to form the Oregon Zero Energy Buildings Coalition. The coalition will be “providing technical and research support to state, local and school district officials, as well as to private-sector developers, designers and builders, to support the implementation of the standards established in Governor Brown’s executive order.”
