Advanced Water Heating Initiative (AWHI) partners kicked off the first-ever Heat Pump Water Heater Day on October 26, 2022 to draw attention to this game-changing technology that holds enormous potential to reduce carbon emissions while saving energy and money.

Social templates were provide in an online toolkit to help participants share on social media. On social media (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram) we used the hashtag #HeatPumpItUp to share HPWH resources, products, cost information, professional practices, projects, and insights on why this is a game changing technology. Connections were made with advocates, manufacturers, installers, homebuilders, and HPWH owners to showcase ENERGY STAR certified HPWHs and the ways they help create a better future.
