Meghan Humphreys is the associate director of development at New Buildings Institute. She has experience in corporate, foundation, and individual fundraising, business development, marketing, communications and public relations. Prior to joining NBI in 2018, Meghan was the Director of Workplace Activities at EarthShare Oregon for 14 years, where she managed charitable giving campaigns in workplaces to benefit more than 100 Oregon and national environmental nonprofits. She has served on the Board of Directors of Bradley Angle and the steering committee of the Corporate Sustainability Collaborative in Portland. Meghan earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from University of Missouri-Columbia, is a Climatebase Fellow (Cohort 6, 2024), and holds certificates in Nonprofit Fundraising and Management Resilience, both from The People’s Nonprofit Accelerator.
