At NBI, Kevin Berry is focused on resiliency code efforts. He assists on projects involved in net-zero code developement, regional resiliency code devlopment, green financing, and building performance standards. Prior to joining NBI in 2022, he worked for an energy efficiency implementation company, researching state and federal energy policies, utility programs, and building energy codes. Kevin completed his PhD in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. He received a Fulbright for his doctoral research on architecture and politics and was a visiting scholar at the Technical University of Berlin in 2018. He also has experience teaching as an adjunct professor of architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and, between 2012 and 2014, was an adjunct professor of philosophy at Boston College.
