Jess joined NBI in 2023 as a Project Manager on the Codes and Policy team. With a background in architecture from the University of Oregon and building science from Portland State University, she uses this intersection in sustainable design thinking to consider the health and wellbeing of natural and social systems through generative and inclusive project solutions. Jess is a Certified Passive House Consultant and a LEED Green Associate. Jess’s experience in energy modeling, whole building lifecycle analysis, policy implementation and architecture training brings a rounded lens to maximize project development and implementation of better codes and policies.
