Bryce Seymour is a Project Manager at New Buildings Institute. Before joining NBI, she worked in the construction industry at a design/build firm. There she provided policy and code support throughout the Southern California area. This included working with local governments on an array of permitting projects and working cross-functionally with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. After the Woolsey Fire destroyed a total of 1,500 structures in Los Angeles and Ventura counties in 2018, some of her projects focused on fire rebuilds specifically within the Malibu area. Bryce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth & Environmental Science from Furman University and a Master of Public Policy degree from Pepperdine University specializing in State and Local policy. This background allows Bryce to bring a unique perspective and help engage with state officials, local governments, and industry market players to maximize development and implementation of better codes & policies.
