Associate Director of Client Marketing and Communications

Angie Ostaszewski is a seasoned energy professional with deep expertise in energy efficiency, community-based programming, and workforce development. As the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications for New Buildings Institute, she supports project teams and clients through subject matter expertise, project leadership, and the delivery of exceptional communications and marketing pieces. Angie is passionate about driving change through impactful initiatives. She managed clean energy initiatives and championed innovation and equity programs for 7 years at Ameren, a utility company in the Midwest. Her dedication extends beyond the workplace serving on boards for the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), Illinois Central College Foundation, and Peoria Chamber of Commerce.  

With exceptional communication skills and a talent for fostering community engagement, Angie brings a powerful blend of expertise and enthusiasm to her work. Angie received the 2022 AESP Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Award, the 2022 Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Rising Star Award, and the 2022 Ameren Illinois Presidents’ Award for Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion. Angie also created a social media presence to attract diverse talent to her small town, which gained recognition from the New York Times. She has an MBA with a focus on marketing and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
