Presenter
Evan Green is a Research Engineer highly experienced in applying Commercial Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH) to Domestic Hot Water Systems in Multifamily and Commercial buildings. As a member of Ecotope’s Technology Transformation Team, he works closely with HPWH manufacturers to optimize the design of new products; with utilities to test the efficiency and reliability of various plumbing configurations, and performs post-installation monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of HPWH systems. He is a subject matter expert in Ecotope’s education and training program for developers, installers, and utilities.
Objectives
Participants will be able to
- Receive an overview of commercial heat pump water heater technology
- Gain training on how to design, size, and install a CHPWH system
- Learn about the different types of CHPWH systems (central, small commercial packaged, and more)
- Explore CHPWH technology and have questions answered directly by manufacturers
