Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards (WSLA) Alumnae Group

Rochelle Routman is an accomplished C-suite executive and internationally recognized sustainability leader. Currently, as the founder and President of the WSLA Alumnae Group, Rochelle leads the strategy and the board which has propelled the organization and its annual awards program to success. The organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and has a membership of more than 135 of the most accomplished and influential women in the field, with global representation.

Formerly, as Chief Sustainability and Impact Officer at HMTX Industries, a privately held global flooring manufacturer, Rochelle launched a unique strategy encompassing social justice, green construction, greenhouse gas reduction, ESG reporting, energy efficiency and verified nature-based carbon offsets. Prior to this role, Rochelle led sustainability initiatives at Mohawk Industries, Southern Company, and Lockheed Aeronautics.

Rochelle draws from her education in earth sciences and her passion for ecology and human health. Rochelle earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geology, followed by a Master’s of Science degree in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a LEED Accredited Professional (O+M), and a Professional Geologist.
