Mona Chandra is a Principal Analyst at National Grid, one of the largest electric and gas utilities in the Northeast. She currently works on Commercial and Industrial Strategy in Rhode Island, for National Grid. In previous roles with National Grid, she oversaw the Energy Efficiency Innovation Portfolio for National Grid in New England. She also led the launch of residential and commercial demand response programs in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. Prior to joining National Grid, she was a practicing registered Architect for 12 years working on energy efficient design for higher education buildings, labs and senior living facilities. She has a Master’s degree from Arizona State University in Energy Efficiency in Building Design.
