Where We’ll Be in October

Director of Building Innovation, Smita Gupta, will be speaking at Better buildings: A holistic approach to decarbonizing the built environment, a virtual event from Arup. The virtual session will take place on Thursday, October 7 at 11:00 am PDT.

Amruta Khanolkar, Senior Project Manager, will be presenting Heat Pump Water Heaters – New Developments for Retrofits and Multi-family on Tuesday, October 12, 12:00 – 1:00 pm PDT as part of Sustainable Building Week. Registration info for the virtual presentation can be found here. 

Join Project Manager Webly Bowles at the Northwest Green Building Slam Summit on Wednesday, October 13. She will be presenting Climate Change, IAQ and Energy Efficiency at 2:00 pm PDT. The event is happening virtually and more information can be found here.

From Wednesday, October 27 to Friday, October 29, join the NBI team in New York at the 2021 Getting to Zero Forum. Several staff members will be presenting at the Forum, including:

  • Kevin Carbonnier, Project Manager, will be moderating Developing the Plan for a Decarb Transition, on Friday, October 29, 9:00 – 10:30 am EDT.
  • Mark Lyles, Senior Project Manager, and Kim Cheslak, Director of Codes, will be presenting Better Codes, Better Buildings, on Friday, October 29, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm EDT.
