Join us at a pre-event workshop that will take place prior to the NZ18 conference in California. ZNE-resistance has bred misinformation and public reluctance that design and construction professionals must learn to counter to advance ZNE. Professionals will gain the tools to refute common ZNE myths and expand their understanding of ZNE buildings at different scales. Presentations will pave the road to advance building energy efficiency by crossing the property line to increase grid-interaction, developing ZNE campuses, and evaluating distributed energy resources (DER). CPUC will share the State’s new goals, and Santa Monica will showcase their ZNE requirements and achievements at different project sizes and scales. Case studies will disprove ZNE misinformation and illustrate the future of ZNE buildings.
