Ed McGlynn is a Vice President of Commercial & Industrial Product Management for Franklin Energy. In this role, Ed develops new C&I products and services, provides support to Franklin’s regional operation teams implementing utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs across the country, and offers energy efficiency consulting advice to electric and gas utilities. Ed has 30 years of experience in the utility and energy efficiency industries where he’s applied vision, leadership and innovation to advancing energy efficiency programs and policy. During his career Ed has worked with utilities across the United States developing and managing energy solutions that target the commercial and industrial sectors including energy efficiency, demand response, distributed generation and renewables.

Ed has been a Board member of the New Building Institute since 2004 and previously served on the Board of the Association of Energy Service Professionals and the Compressed Air Challenge. Ed is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Building Commissioning Professional.
