The Core Performance Guide is a prescriptive path was first published in 2007. The Core Performance Guide offered a prescriptive approach to achieving high levels of energy efficiency above contemporary energy codes. It was also included in previous versions of USGBC's LEED program as an option to earn Energy and Atmosphere credits.
