Amy Cortese, Senior Project Manager
Amy Cortese is a Senior Project Manager at New Buildings Institute. At NBI, Amy spearheads the efforts for Office of the Future, a consortium of electric utilities working together to improve energy efficiency in commercial offices. Formerly a Sustainability Coordinator with ZGF Architects, Amy brings a strong understanding of green building, energy-efficient design and LEED to the NBI team. She has also worked as a Project Manager for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance where she oversaw aspects of the BetterBricks program including professional training and the Integrated Design Labs. She has served as Vice President of the Portland Planning Commission and also as a member of the Planning and Sustainability Cabinet for Portland Mayor Sam Adams. Amy is a LEED Accredited Professional with specialty in Design and Construction.
