Doug Baston is the President of North Atlantic Energy Advisors (NAEA), a consulting firm that advises utilities, states, public energy efficiency programs, and NGOs on energy program design, implementation and management. Before founding NAEA, Doug founded and directed a community-based energy efficiency organization on Cape Cod and managed energy efficiency programs for the Bonneville Power Administration in Oregon and Central Maine Power Company. He also serves as a Selectman, Assessor, and Overseer of the Poor in his hometown in Maine. Doug has a BA and a JD from the University of Maine and has studied utility economics and regulatory policy at Portland (Oregon) State University and Lewis and Clark College.
